Company dental insurance through YuLife enables employees to claim back the cost of dental treatment, including dental check-ups, preventative and restorative dental work, dental injuries, emergencies and oral cancer treatment, up to the value of the cover level.
There are five levels of cover available and employees can select any dentist (NHS or private) in the UK, so they can continue seeing their existing dentist if they choose to. There’s cash back towards virtual appointments if your people can’t get to see a dentist in person, and pre-existing conditions are also covered.
This depends on the IOTN severity grading. The company dental plan through YuLife will cover IOTN Grades 4 and 5 for 19 year olds and over, and IOTN Grades 3, 4 and 5 for years 18 and under. The NHS will usually capture Grades 1, 2 and 3 with under 18s.
They have to be medically necessary. Anything that has been fitted for cosmetic reasons will be excluded from cover.
Yes – as long as you are happy to have them covered on your company policy or are able to take the payment from the employee, then employees can choose to cover their partners and children. There is no limit to the number of children on the policy. You only pay for one and they are covered up until their 24th birthday.
