What is Group Critical Illness?

Critical illness is an extremely valuable insurance policy. It pays out if an employee, their child or their partner (if included) suffers one of the illnesses defined in the policy.

Protection for serious illness or injury.

Sometimes your employees need financial support if they or their loved ones become seriously ill.

It may be to cover treatment costs, subsidise a lost income or pay to adapt their home. Everyone’s needs are different.

Financial & emotional support when needed most.

Critical Illness Cover provides financial support to your employees when it really matters.

It pays out a tax-free lump sum if an employee, their child or partner (if covered) is diagnosed with any of the serious illnesses covered in the policy.

You choose the lump sum amount and who is covered (your employees need to agree to pay a P11D tax charge). Whatever the choices, you’ll be making a real difference to their lives.
