EBCam is a specialist Employee Benefits consultancy focusing on providing comprehensive, engaging and rewarding benefits to employees. Their team has over 20 years’ experience in supporting employers and employees with their employee benefits packages to help them and their businesses thrive.
Reflecting on her time at EBCam since it was founded in January last year, Director Stephanie Butcher said: “I love what I do, working with our amazing team and fabulous clients. I am proud to work for an organisation that not only cares about it's clients, but cares about it's employees too.”
When seeking a new wellbeing solution for her clients, Stephanie was attracted to the “innovation” behind the YuLife proposition. She wanted her team at EBCam to test out the offering for themselves before introducing it as a wellbeing strategy to other businesses.
“Throughout the lockdown we have had daily team calls and at least once a week the YuLife leaderboard comes up!”
So far, the team have found their experience with YuLife to be “engaging and rewarding”, and Stephanie has been particularly impressed by the simplicity of the app. “It is really simple to use in terms of both earnings points and redeeming them - as well as accessing the value add services such as EAP too.”
The partnership has resulted in a number of noticeable positive changes within the team, sparking “great conversation” and encouraging “healthy competition” amongst colleagues. “Throughout the lockdown we have had daily team calls, and quite often (at least once a week!) the YuLife leaderboard comes up!”
In addition to being a gateway to important insurance and wellbeing services, YuLife serves as a tool to inspire healthy lifestyle changes through the adoption of small, daily habits. Stephanie herself is an avid user of the app and has started practicing regular mindfulness as a result: “I never used to meditate but now I do it daily!”
“We are really happy we chose YuLife when implementing our employee benefit strategy.”
By changing their habits with YuLife, the EBCam team has been inspired to achieve some really ambitious goals, completing a charity walk in aid of Mind charity and their local foodbank. “The challenge was to walk from Landsend to John O'Groats (around 875 miles), but the team did it so quickly we decided to challenge ourselves to walk back again too!”
The challenge not only enabled EBCam to raise “vital funds for amazing charities”, but helped the team to seriously rack-up their YuCoin, which they can redeem for vouchers to spend on “things they really want”, at the same time - a win-win!
“We are really happy we chose YuLife when implementing our employee benefit strategy for our team. Being employee benefits specialists and having a responsibility to provide our clients with the best employee benefits offering, we also have a responsibility to ensure our team get the exact same service as our clients - and with YuLife we know we are providing insurances which are reliable and valued, along with a range of excellent and engaging extras.”
